Amputations

In our special consultation hour, we provide care and regular treatment to patients with amputation injuries and prostheses. The follow-up visits of patients with amputations of the upper and lower extremities also serves to monitor their progress. When carrying out follow-up checks on the patient, we also examine the rehabilitation process and our approach to prosthetic treatment, and optimise them if possible. The goal is to provide patients with continuous supervision, both before and after amputations, through holistic advice and by establishing a therapy plan in an interdisciplinary manner. Our close cooperation with the employer’s liability insurance associations and your rehab manager make for a unique opportunity on your end. Your home-based therapists and orthopaedic technicians are also welcome at our consultation hours at any time.

TEAM:

The consultation hour is supervised by an interdisciplinary team. Our team is made up of surgeons, neurologists, pain therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, orthopaedic technicians and engineers from our research focus area.
